Bedroom Refresh

I am a summer girl at heart. I love the beach, the pool, and time off. But I am officially READY FOR FALL!

I've been jonesing to decorate for fall, bust out the sweatshirts and leggings, and start cooking delicious comfort food. I've already been clothes shopping for the whole family, sprucing up our fall wardrobe. And alas, the weather is still reaching the 80's every day. I'm sure I'm going to be kicking myself come February, when I can't take another bitter day of the ugliness of New Jersey winters, but I have to admit, I just love fall. Everything about it. Something I am really looking forward to with the cooler weather is taking out my big cozy duvet for the bed. I've been in the market for some new bedding, and my go-to bedding store, West Elm, has been sending me emails about their big sale several times a day. I kinda feel like it's a sign...

So I'm recruiting all of you to help me make a decision. I've narrowed it down to two, and I will post a picture of the winning bedding once it arrives (and its cold enough to put on my bed!!!)

Option 2 is definitely more "me." I am a big yellow and gray fan- my current duvet cover is a West Elm yellow and white stripe duvet that they don't sell anymore. But Option 1 would be fun because I could get out of my comfort zone and get some different colored sheets- my staples are gray and white at the moment, pretty neutral.

To help you decide, let me give you a few deets about my bedroom. The walls are Revere Pewter by Benjamin Moore, the carpet is a neutral tan color, and our furniture is a mix of white and gray IKEA pieces :) We also have this headboard from West Elm in gray.
